When you go to your go to "im upset" video and all the comments are now 5 years old... i was watching this in a dorm room. Now im in an office at a job i hate. Yet it still hits. It still slaps. And im still so fucking sad.

Need to put this out here. This song has been there through the middle years of my transition into present day. It has seen some of the most difficult obstacles I've had to face in my day to day life. But it captures my past and current road in a way that words never will be able to. The grief, the guilt, the shame, the panic, the fear, the way you feel as though something is eating you from the inside out, the inability to see yourself in a mirror, the way it creeps in and completely rips you apart. It's not something that has a word. And yet, somehow you made this... masterpiece that captures every little bit of what I have had to and still have to work through on the daily. So thank you. It has been helping to heal a part of the child I never got to be growing up and you'll never know how grateful I am for that.

So from what I can gather the story is about a kid with an abusive mother growing up. He would always wind up hurt and even had to be hospitalized (its not clear if the mother hurt him or if she let him be hurt) He grows up and cuts off contact with his mom (good for him) but because of the trauma he can't find a healthy relationship because his normal is abuse (really sad it happens all the time) in the end he winds up alone but finally happy after probably a lot of therapy. I probably got a lot wrong because I have no idea who these characters are I just love the song and love watching people's stories using the song. It's great for a lot of hurt/comfort.

I’m not trans but as a person who had a friend who used to be trans, and they got discriminated by others I understand.

a few years late, 4 years to be exact. But dude, this is so fuckin amazing istg- i honestly wish i could draw this well. I believe this is about being trans, (if it isnt, sorry for assuming thats just what i personally think its about) and as a trans guy i can relate. I think its sort of showing that you cant stop thinking about how you were before you transitioned, and i relate to that a shit ton. like, i'll always look at pics of before i cut my hair and before I started looking more like a guy and ill be like "wtf happened man" again, this is so good, made me subscribe. keep up the good work bud❤

I can't pretend to imagine the situations you went through as a trans person growing up. my whole heart is with you, and I hope now you've got an AMAZING support system that reminds you every day that you are who you are, and loves you for you. I love your vent art, and I love this song. but I'm cis but this song always reminds me of a childhood friend who, in the end, decided they weren't really my friend. please don't think I'm trying to devalue you're message, but you're art helped me realize the way this song is applicable to to my life.
